Collection for sources reveals that authorities have said schools from one to eight in the capital Jaipur will open till 9 January. That is, winter holidays have been extended by the collector here. Ajmer district has also been declared closed on 7 Jan due to Urs. In such a case, schools would be opening in Alwar from 7-11, in Kota from 7-9, and in Bikaner from 11. In a lot of places, Anganwadi centers will also start functioning after 14 January.
The Union Minister of Education announces the holiday on December 23rd

But the winter already started from the month of December in this state. So, on 23rd December, Education Minister announced school holidays, which would be from 25th December as per Shivira Calendar.
