School Holiday Update: Collector has issued orders, Schools will remain closed till this date

Seeing this, many district collectors of the Rajasthan state have, after the recommendation of the Education Department, extended the date of winter vacations for their schools. This will result in different opening days for schools across the cities. Earlier, schools were scheduled to open in all the Rajasthan cities from January 7.

According to the Simbira Panchang, the holidays were from December 25 to January 5. Since Guru Govind Singh Jayanti fell on Monday, January 6, this provided a government holiday, and the schools would open on January 7. So now, the teachers and students are engaged in preparing for school.

School Holiday: Know when the school will be opened in the city

Collection for sources reveals that authorities have said schools from one to eight in the capital Jaipur will open till 9 January. That is, winter holidays have been extended by the collector here. Ajmer district has also been declared closed on 7 Jan due to Urs. In such a case, schools would be opening in Alwar from 7-11, in Kota from 7-9, and in Bikaner from 11. In a lot of places, Anganwadi centers will also start functioning after 14 January.

Let us tell you that this time some confusion arose regarding winter holidays. Education Minister Madan Dilawar said that date of winter holidays would decided in consideration of winter. But the winter already started from the month of December in this state. So, on 23rd December, Education Minister announced school holidays, which would be from 25th December as per Shivira Calendar.
